Built to fill a gap
the market left open

From the Managing Partner

I started my career consulting for Fortune 500s and enterprise organizations, leading growth and transformation projects: expanding a company into nineteen countries, structuring more than a billion dollars in partnerships, transforming departments, and restructuring organizations. I did that work under my first firm, Cannon Consulting.

Shortly after its founding, I got involved in the world of venture capital and startups. The more involved I got, the more clearly I saw a gap in the market. There are plenty of firms offering fractional executives, and plenty of specialists in a single function: finance, engineering, marketing. But there was no one dedicated to growth the way I believed it should be done.

Growth is one of the most important things a business will ever do, and it is the thing most often done badly.

I had seen it over and over. Companies growing irresponsibly, at a pace their operations could not carry. Companies entering the wrong markets, or entering the right markets without the right relationships waiting on the other side. Companies raising capital that did not match the plan, or running a good plan with no one at the table who had executed one before. Each of those mistakes is expensive, most of them are avoidable, and almost nobody is positioned to help with all of them at once.

So my partners and I built the firm that is. Chesterton Hills works inside its clients' businesses, across the strategy, the plan, and the execution, with the network to open the right doors in the right markets, so that growth gets done, and gets done right.
